Registration of Factories under the Factories Act, 2013

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

1. Form – C  {Notice of Occupation}


2. Form – K {Certificate of Stability} (Signed by an Engineer (Civil/   structural/ Architecture Engineer registered with Pakistan Engineering Council)


3. Form – M {CERTIFICATE OF STABILITY MACHINERY AND INSTALLATIONS} (Signed by an Engineer (Mechanical Engineer registered with Pakistan Engineering Council)


4. List of Workers in the following format [On the letterhead pad of the factory to be signed by the Manager / Owner of the factory]


5. List of machinery used in the factory [On letterhead pad of factory to be signed by the Manager / Owner of the factory]

6. Site plan of the factory, duly signed by the Architect (Blueprint)

7. Test report in respect of electric circuits to be safe and suitable to the electricity flow for the operations in a factory duly signed and certified by the Electric Inspector of the Electric Inspectorate of Energy and Power Department (Except brick kilns).

8. Request a letter to the Chief Inspector of Factories for registration of the factory under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Factories Act, 2013 on the letterhead of the factory concerned.

9. Registration certificate will be issued within 10 days after verified documents complete in all respects are received.

Note: {All documents must be signed by the Manager/ Occupier/ Owner of the factory and verified by the respective Inspector of Factories of the area concerned, whereas the Site Plan and Form K, M and report of electricity flow must be signed by a competent engineer and verified by the area Inspector of Factories}
